'WE NEED A MAN AROUND THE HOUSE' ELEGANT TROUSERS AND BOATNECK BLOUSE

I don’t know about you, but I am that kind of strong headed, independent woman that wants to do it all herself, without any help from the others, be it in my career, social or even personal life. I grew up while the feminist trend was still strong, so maybe that’s why. Or maybe it was a desire to show myself that I can do anything and that I do not need outside help for anything – and I was proud about it. But growing up (or growing wiser, ‘cause growing older is out of the question :)) and being involved in a long term relationship for quite a while now, I learnt to appreciate the benefits of having a man around the house. And no, it’s not about carrying heavy stuff, or changing an occasional light bulb, or doing a little repair here and there – all of these I can manage by myself very well, thank you very much. It’s rather the coziness and comfort of knowing you have someone to share your thoughts, your good times and your bad times with, someone to love you and pamper you when you feel like it. Not to mention someone you can lend clothes from time to time, for a quick makeover :)

And about lending, if not clothes, at least ideas of cuts, materials and styling tips from the masculine wardrobe is what this collection is all about. More so this week’s outfit, ‘We need a man around the house’.

STYLING TIPS: 'ALL THE WAY TO TIMBUKTU' SHEER PANEL SWEATSHIRT AND COLOR BLOCK MINI SKIRT

Even if winter is here and it’s cold, it doesn’t have to be boring. If you’re up for a fun, colorful winter, then the ‘All the way to Timbuktu’ sheer panel sweatshirt and mini color block skirt are for you.

If, like me, you’re one of those who cannot stand the chills and prefer to keep yourself warm, even if it means you’ll spend your winter in trousers, go for the sheer panel sweatshirt and a pair of comfy boyfriend jeans – not only will you look stylish, but they can also hide an extra layer of leggings that you can wear underneath for the same purpose of warmth. Wear them with short boots, a colorful bag and a fury cape in earthy tones and you’ll most certainly have a bright winter!

'ALL THE WAY TO TIMBUKTU' SHEER PANEL SWEATSHIRT AND COLOR BLOCK MINI SKIRT

This week's outfit focuses on a scene where – sacrilege! – cats are not necessarily the main focus: the fight scene between Thomas O’Malley and Edgar, Madame’s butler.

'All the way to Timbuktu' outfit

After his first attempt to get rid of Duchess and her kittens fails, Edgar has a new idea to send them far far away, to a place where they cannot come back from – and that is all the way to Timbuktu. Edgar’s preparations to rid himself of the cats once and for all, one of the most dramatic and energetic scenes of the movie, culminate with his fight with O’Malley, who almost gets killed with a pitchfork. However, all the animals work together perfectly, and while Roquefort the mouse releases Duchess and the kittens from the coffer, Scat Cat’s band save O’Malley and help Frou-Frou the mare lock Edgar in his packing case. Thus Edgar gets sent to Timbuktu himself.

'I'm sending you to Timbuktu, if it's the last thing I do!'

It’s Christmas Eve, the most wonderful day of the year. If you haven’t decided what to ask Santa for, here’s a small suggestion for you: a midi color block dress would be the perfect gift to you from your loved ones. Colorful and happy, just like Christmas – that’s the ‘Everybody wants to be a cat’ dress. Together with a golden clutch, some matching accessories and a pair of off-white open toe lace ups, it makes for a great outfit for a Christmas dinner. If you haven’t gotten any of those, make that list and leave it somewhere where your dear ones can find it. Hurry, there’s just so little time left!

'EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE A CAT' COLOR BLOCK COCOON DRESS

At some point in life, any woman ‘wants to be a cat’. That is she wants to be perceived as a feline – such a delicate and elegant appearance, yet strong and ferocious, if need be. There is no greater power a woman can have but when she feels powerful and confident, without losing her femininity, just like a feline that even when killing, she does it with grace. There is even a term in fashion that celebrates this incredibly stylish species: catwalk.

I believe there is no other piece of clothing that can emulate the feline spirit than a good, sexy, yet classy dress. With the ‘Everybody wants to be a cat’ dress you will achieve just that refined feline air, without being too revealing.

STYLING TIPS: 'O'MALLEY THE ALLEY CAT' COLOR BLOCK BLOUSE AND JOGGING PANTS

December is my favorite month of the year (well, excluding the summer months, when I go on vacation :)). December has something special, something magical, something that transforms us all – we are all better, warmer, friendlier. Maybe it’s the Winter Holidays, maybe Santa Claus and his gifts. Or maybe just the cinnamon boiled wine and the sponge cakes. But it’s a fact that we are different in December.

And it is about ‘different’ that I want to talk to you today. With the ‘O’Malley the alley cat’ outfit. In this outfit, I brought together sport influences and elegant details, masculine elements and a feminine mood. That is for the brave ones who will dare wear this outfit as it is. Because it takes courage to wear it, or even to wear the two pieces separately, because with the contrast between the main, strong color, a ‘mad’ orange, and the classical off-white you will not go unnoticed.

With such a warm December, you can wear the short jogging trousers with suspenders and the color block ‘O’Malley the alley cat’ blouse when you go shopping for gifts for the loved ones. Your outfit will be complete with a jeans jacket, a checkered scarf, a cap – made of fur would be funniest! – and, of course, sport shoes, as you have a lot of running around to do to find those gifts!

'O'MALLEY THE ALLEY CAT' COLOR BLOCK BLOUSE AND JOGGING PANTS

I am a sucker for cartoons. Especially old school ones, like the Disney classics. And one of my favorites happens to have cats as protagonists – how could I but include it on my inspiration list? So here it goes: straight down from the screen and into the street, Thomas O’Malley from ‘The Aristocats’. O’Malley the alley cat.

'Thomas O'Malley/O'Malley the alley cat'

'O'Malley the Alley Cat' outfit

Thomas O'Malley appears in the movie right after Duchess and her kittens wake up after being drugged and thrown away by Edgar, their owner’s valet. Thomas makes an introduction, showing he is a streetwise cat, a sort of a feline Casanova, careless and free, who enjoys growing no roots and going wherever life takes him.

STYLING TIPS: SHEER PANEL 'SPEEDY GONZALES' SWEATSHIRT AND A-LINE SKIRT

We’re back and so is autumn. After a few very warm and sunny days, we are now expecting a bit of a chill – and it’s only natural, it’s November already! But until the cold takes over control, be ready to spice things up a bit with our ‘Speedy Gonzales’ sheer panel sweatshirt!

Sporty but girly, our sweatshirt is comfortable and fun while being also intriguing. Wear it with the ‘Speedy Gonzales’ A-line skirt for school – just make sure to tame the transparency with an extra layer under the sweatshirt: a spaghetti top or a polo-neck top will do the trick. Add a pair of socks, some brogues, and your backpack and there you have it, your very special school outfit.

'SPEEDY GONZALES' SWEATSHIRT AND SKIRT

El Gringo Pussycat is our next stop for inspiration for a sporty outfit: a sweatshirt like no other and a fun little skirt.

‘Speedy Gonzales’ was just the perfect episode to find a new and unique perspective on our hero: Sylvester, patrolling the boundary of the cheese factory against illegal trespassers, is very successful, unlike most of the times. Since many hungry mice have fallen prey to the ferocious guard, the ones that remain finally decide to bring in their own champion, a mouse so fast that not even bullets can catch him. As sporty and fast as Sylvester is in this extraordinary episode (and yet another Academy Awards winner), Speedy is even better, just as his name says it: really speedy, impossible to catch.

STYLING TIPS: THE DIPPED HEM COLOR BLOCK ’BIRDS ANONYMOUS’ DRESS

Whenever you feel like wearing something fun and comfy, although the occasion dictates a rather sober outfit, you can choose a loose fitted model, just like our ’Birds Anonymous’ dress. Just on the verge between casual and sport, the dipped hem black dress with a bit of color blocking is perfect for school or a day at the office.

Worn with a short leather jacket to accentuate its loose shape and the dip ruffle skirt, and a pair of sport shoes, it is great for those long autumn school days. Just add a bit of spice with some fun accessories and a bit of drama with an eyelashes elongating mascara and a burgundy lipstick – now that’s the spirit!

Inspired by one of the most famous (and Academy Award winner!) episodes of the Sylvester series, the ‘Birds Anonymous’ dress will make you anything but anonymous!

In this quite extraordinary episode, so unlike any other, Sylvester resolves to stop eating birds and joins the Birds Anonymous association.

STYLING TIPS: 'I TAWT I TAW A PUTTY TAT!' OUTFIT

The ‘I TawtI Taw a Putty Tat!’ outfit definitely has a more elegant feel to it, suited for an office look – after all, it is Sylvester’s job to catch that bird, though, sadly, he’s not very good at it ;) Quite the opposite, no one can say you do not look like a true professional with this outfit - but with a little twist, and that’s what you should be aiming for, especially if your work environment is not the usual tern 9 to 5, black suit type of job.

For a toned-down appearance, you can lose the suspenders (or not, it’s up to you), add just a few sleek accessories – earrings, a watch and a simple handbag, together with some high-heeled pumps and a black cape and you’re done.

'I TAWT I TAW A PUTTY TAT!': BICOLOR BLOUSE AND PONTE FLOUNCE SKIRT

We continue our journey into Sylvester’s world – this week tackling his relationship with his most famous opponent, Tweety the canary.

Starting with their first episode together, ‘Tweetie Pie’ (even though Sylvester’s name back then was Thomas), we see our protagonist’s every attempt at catching the smart canary woefully fails.

STYLING TIPS: 'OH, THE SHAME OF IT!' OUTFIT

Although at first glance the two ‘Oh, the shameof it’ pieces might appear to be difficult to wear because of the details and the unexpected combination of materials, in reality they are quite versatile. Worn together or separately, the top and skort can be worn for various occasions – here are some styling tips:

With a leather jacket, a pair of low heeled utility boots and your daily backpack, you can wear them at school. Personalize the outfit with the proper accessories – striped socks, a checkered scarf, but do not forget about a bracelet and funny earrings. If you want, you can add a turtleneck under your top and you’re good to go!

'OH, THE SHAME OF IT!' OUTFIT: BICOLOR SKORT AND TOP

With school beginning, we also start by sharing the life teachings of almighty Sylvester J. Pussycat, Sr. to his son, Sylvester J. Pussycat, Jr.
And what other more fashionable method to enter the world of these characters than in a young and playful outfit, such as ’Oh, the shame of it!’, which, through the chosen chromatic and unexpected details, reflects both the mood and the message of the episodes in which Sylvester plays the role model for his son.

ENTER LES TOMCATS

Dapper boys - Wild riders - Superheroes

Humans like to dress us up – sometimes for fun, sometimes out of necessity, they say. At last, time has come to take our revenge: for once, we are dressing them up!
This season, they will wear whatever we have in store for them:
